HI, I’M SASHA.
When I was 9 years old, I walked straight into a moving car. Why? I was busy reading a book – too busy to watch where I was going.
In the 20 years since then, I’ve learned to pay more attention to my surroundings. And I’ve learned that as much as I love reading stories, I love telling them more.
Whether it’s by writing them down, packaging them into a podcast, or asking the right questions in an interview, telling stories is my passion.
And I’d like to help you tell yours.
What I Do

Writing is my first love. I’m particularly passionate about personal development – I spent 5 years as the Editor-in-Chief of a web publication devoted to the topic – but I also have experience writing about books, food, and travel.

In 2020, words aren’t enough to tell stories. That’s why I don’t just write. My media work also includes graphics creation, podcast production, and some video work – including conducting off-camera interviews and editing and subtitling clips.

For many people, a love of stories comes with a love of language – and I’m no exception. I spent my junior year at New York University studying in Argentina and Puerto Rico so that I could become fluent in Spanish. I also speak fluent Japanese, having spent nearly half my life in Tokyo, Japan.

In 2017, I experienced some health challenges that forced me into a low-sodium diet. Wanting to learn more, I enrolled in Tokyo’s Hattori Nutrition College the following year and earned my Japanese National Culinary License. This experience built my teamwork skills, radically improved my Japanese – and reminded me that you don’t always need words to tell a story. Food can be just as powerful.
